Free MiniMac Offer from Apple Real Deal

Here's the scoop I got from Luke Hutteman's SharpReader rss feed: This link is to the website. What's even better than cheap though? How about FREE? All you need to do is * Click on one of the FreeMiniMacs.com urls in the comment-section of this post and a couple months later a free 80GB Mac mini will find its way to your home. This may seem like it's too good to be true, and potentially a scam, but it's not. This offer is from the same people that did freeipods.com, and there are plenty of reports online from people who've received their free iPod through that service. The way it works is that the company behind this gets money for every online offer completed, and getting 10 referrals will make them enough money to send you a Mac mini. Will this cause a lot of spam? Not sure - Most people seem to report little or no spam as a result of this service. Personally, I created a special email just for this, and will update this post in a week or so to let you know how much spam I received on that email account. According to their Terms and Conditions, this offer is only for US residents by the way, so if you're considering this but live elsewhere, it seems like you're out of luck. UPDATE: A few people reported running into some issues with the freeminimacs website. If you're having trouble getting to the offers page after signing up, just go to their Login page and sign on again using the email address and password you entered before. This should take you directly to the offers. UPDATE 2: One week later, and no spam has arrived yet on the email address I used to sign up for both freeminimacs and blockbuster online (the offer I chose). On the other hand, I have more freeminimacs.com urls posted in the comment-section for this post than my account has referrals with completed offers, so I can't say that I'm completely spam-free... UPDATE 3: I've got all the referrals with completed offers I need, so I removed my freeminimacs.com referral url from this post. If you're interested in this offer, please use one of the urls from the comment-section of this post.[/quote] Well, I did complete an offer. I found out you have to actually buy something to have a completion. Since I didn't want to click on the credit card offers, I went for CheapTickets. Here's the cool thing - There I was going to join as a member but for a 3 year membership I and a companion can get free roundtrip flights during the next year (one each). Then today I got a call from that company offering an upgrade to "lifemembership" for only $59 more and I definitely will get a flight with 3 days/2 nights to one of the 25 destinations they offer. They change around the dates and places. I will also get $100 back on my first flight booked through them. I've used them in the past and they are a good company,. So, how do I talk friends into doing this? Mine shows for me as completed. Here's my link just in case anyone wants to try it out... http://www.FreeMiniMacs.com/?r=14055562 How cool is it that I may not get the mini-mac but I will do well on airfare for the two flights I already figured I'd be making this year! I heard also that if you do the offer on NetZero that you register for a name and can choose the free ISP dial-up although they want you to pay for the fancier one. Also heard that the Blockbuster deal was good and the one from Lowes or similar store was good. Hmmmmm, ok this is where I tell you all to just click on my referral link in the paragraph above and see what you think. Apparentaly iPods came through for folks in the know last time around, and Luke is a pro I'd trust to have checked all the details out well before he went for the offer and put it into his website.
