Bulletin Board: new for friends, Learning Mentors, students, geeks....

Resource.full Learning Mentors bulletin board

This is the place that I hope to use for a posting forum that my email newsletter suscribers will find most helpful. The goal is information resources: the referral of sources thru links and people is of most interest to me. I find the best information of use to myself through membership and subscriptions to a wide variety of online journals and newsletters.

To me, there is a lot going on with librarians, educators, university folks in American Studies, Communication, Computer Sciences, etc. as well as journalist blogs and journals and law blogs and websites. The interesting thing is that most do not seem to speak the same language, yet the crossbreeding or would that be cross-pollination would be most beneficial to reach a wider public with copacetic interests. I say, why on earth invent the ... wheel? Time to translate between these disparate groups with the eye of someone who has been around many blocks in many neighborhoods!

The site www.innergeek.us has a fun online test and scoring you can submit for the ranking. I heard about this on Chris Pirillo's Lockergnome site and newsletters. He says he scored 33%, so I am really really astonished about this! How does a former elementary education student end up in such straits? Ah, I always knew I was "different"....
