The More Likely Scenario...

This just in from a friend with the NYTimes abuzz posting forum. Thanks to bi-polar!

"The More Likely Scenario.....

Karl Rove: Mr. President I think I have an idea about how to correct this little snafu
we're having with your approval ratings........let's say we find a house and pick a fight
and kill a couple of guys...then we can have a "reliable" source identify them as Saddams
sons, we'll get someone on our team to produce some "DNA" evidence...we'll have our media,
we own them now as you know, blitz the entire world with the story using Fox News babes
with the very biggest ti ts, and within a week your ratings are back up, and everyone will
have forgotten all this exaggeration and lying business.

'em for no reason?

Karl Rove: Hilarious huh? Consider it a bonus. Well Mr. President what do you think?

GWB: Huh?

Karl Rove: I'll take that as a yes."

And where do you suppose the millions of dollars "reward money" will go? I'm betting "somewhere that the US WANTS it to go. Ah, what "we" have learned from Contragate...

Guardian: Guantanamo Bay

This is now Sunday, and the Guardian special report entitled "The Bitterest Betrayal" is still not mentioned in any US media sources that I can find. Just went thru the Newsisfree RSS feed news aggregator, and still - nothing!

July 19: Among the 680 men imprisoned at Camp Delta, Cuba, are nine Britons. The US says they are hardcore terrorists, and holds them without charge. But where is the evidence? And why is our government so silent on their plight? By Tania Branigan and Vikram Dodd.

Bless British press for coming up with some of the best - (ready for this one?) - straight lines - in headine stories!
