David Sirota's Bush Notes on Conference

This blogger has done a fine job of immediately "inking" and publishing the quotes from the Bush news conference in a "claim - fact" style. David Sirota's blog now gets added to the sidebar in the "Choice Selections" and thank you sir: excellent job! I'd been hearing the Xresident ramble along and know that something he'd just said was contradictory to other things he said, but this list really brought it clear to me. Another thing I noticed was that some of the statements Bush made about OTHER countries and leaders were the very same thing that could be said about him/"us"/the US. Read it and see if you find his "translation" helpful, as I did.

Bush Live News Conference Now

Anyone else notice that Bush is talking rather casually and seems a bit rattled tonight? Hmmm, "I won't lose my job in 2004" seems to be a quote coming up in the Fox News captions. Well, it sounds as if this man is becoming quite defensive for a change. Keep the pressure on!

Oh yes, check the sidebar for a few new links this week. John Ashcroft is on the hotseat with the 9-11 Commision and he's throwing out some silly stuff. Not even qualifying as "spin".
