Old Story Archive: Disability Issues

At some point I remembered that I had a story still online (I hoped!) in Open Source Politics that I need to retrieve and save. When one decides to finally write a book, it is most helpful to see what you've already written! Flash, inspiration!
Back in September of 2003, I wrote a story of how a Cereal Bowl Leads to the Psych Ward in Open Source Politics. Thankfully, the good folks blogging there continue on with great writers bringing a variety of viewpoints to political issues. AND they had catalogued and preserved archives where the story is still available online. Whew, no need to enlist the Internet Wayback Machine today! Here is the link for those interested: And thank you Professor Kim, for seeing and taking on the Bush Administration budget cuts to the disabled in your blog. Not only did she catch the story on funding cuts by HALF for low income housing for dependent adults with developmental disabilities and other disabilties - but she ran the story and ADDED HERS on Friday.
